Committees

A number of standing and ad-hoc committees have been established to deal with various aspects of running the building. All committees are advisory to the board and are composed of shareholder volunteers who live in the building. Each committee is chaired by a member of the board or by a volunteer shareholder who works closely with the board.

Many committees are open to anyone who wishes to participate. These meetings are announced on the bulletin board in the lobby. If you are interested in a particular committee, leave a note at the front desk for its chair. The board and heads of committees welcome shareholder participation, whether it's just an idea passed along, a complaint or an offer to volunteer.
