Managing AgentAkam Associates On-site AKAM Management Office: AKAM Associates, our managing agent, and Patty Marcus, AKAM's on-site building manager, are essential to the smooth operation of our multi-million-dollar corporation. AKAM manages our finances and maintains our books; manages our staff, staff payroll and employee issues; organizes response and resources in emergencies; provides vendor and supplier resources as needed, and helps us negotiate contracts. Patty Marcus manages the application process for sales, sublets, refinancing and renovations, from initial request to board approval or rejection. She responds to shareholder complaints and problems; handles dozens of calls, faxes and visits each day from building employees, vendors, contractors, attorneys, mortgage companies and real estate brokers; prepares materials for board meetings and serves as administrative assistant to the board of directors; and she oversees building staff personnel matters.
